Oulx' history Oulx lies between the Bardonecchia Valley and Cesana and borders on Salbertrand, Sauze d'Oulx and Sestriere.

Because of its geographical position, Oulx has always been a good place for invasions, from the 574 with Longobards and until the end of the 10th century with the Saracens expulsion through Arduino Glabro.
